The three-story house on the front right, tinted — probably inaccurately — blue-green, had been built around 1898 as a twin house. Under divided ownership, it left half was acquired by Howard Davis in 1919, and served as Davis's Store, then Mapes.

The right half housed at least four generations of drugstores, run by William F. Fiedler then H. C. Crane. After it was torn down and redeveloped in 1926, the location was occupied by J. Paul Shea, and finally the Narberth Pharmacy 1998–2015.

A similar view in the 1930s; Shea's Drugs occupies the corner building.

The YMCA building with its row of shops on the left was built in 1908. By the 1913 atlas, the gap on the right side of the street between the house-like structure in front and the building with the tower (still standing in 2025, minus its tower) had started began to fill in.
