Carden was the author in 1905 of Narberth's Historical Prelude 1616–1895, a history of the Narberth area before incorporation. The script for Narberth's Historical Pageant (PDF) of 1914 was largely based on the booklet.
As a 21-year-old medical student, Warner assisted Frederick Collins's strange experiments to determine the effect of electricity on a human brain.
