William T. Harris
1872–1959

William T. Harris dominated the 1910s and '20s Narberth construction of modest bungalows and twins, in contrast with the borough's previous profile of large Victorians. He and his wife Mary E. Harris are named all over Narberth maps 1913-1926. His office was located in Narberth's oldest commercial building, the c. 1899 Arcade Building, which he renamed the Harris Building and where he and his partner John Caldwell operated the Arcade Theatre, Narberth's first.
