Phillip Lovering Jones

Reverend Jones was an editor for the Baptist Publication Society. As a vice-president of the Narberth Park Association, Narberth's first civic association, "when it came to outreach, Rev. Philip L. Jones was the lightning rod of the Elm tract's sizable settlement of Baptist clergy." —Victoria Donohoe, A Cultural History of Narberth, unpublished. After the incorporation the borough he became the first chairman of the Narberth School Board and second president of the Narberth Fire Company.
